I'm a 17 year old Boy from austin, an early graduate, and i just moved to lubbock,TX to attend Texas Tech University. I'm scared out of my mind because i don't have my family. I'm the type of person where family is everything and i have always been very involved with my family, so they just make me feel comfortable. Now i was excited and nervous about the move to begin with but it hit me once they left that the people i love are not just downstairs anymore. And to tell you the truth i want to cry. Now my instinct is to try and get out of here before i get penalized, go home with my family, and attend the community college for a semester and then transfer to UT(and be with my family). But what do others think is what i want to know? What should i do? I understand that i will not be abel to depend on them all the time but i just love being with them. I mean my brother is my best friend, my mother gives me comfort, and my dad is there to make me laugh and be a father. I do have friends, a lot of them, and they are all in Austin as well.
